I finally got tired of the muddy path by the side gate, so I had a local mason lay down a meandering walkway with reclaimed brick and flagstone. The whole thing is inlaid with creeping thyme between the joints, which smells amazing when you step on it. Now the yard feels like it has a proper skeleton, with a dry-laid stone border around the perennial beds and a little circular patio under the oak tree. It’s not just functional—it actually makes the garden feel finished and intentional.
